Aneta Tomczak graduated from York University in 2008 with a specialized honours degree in kinesiology and health science where she developed a strong sense of the mind and the body. Fueled by her innate desire to help people, she wanted to expand her acquired knowledge to incorporate a hands-on approach to health and well-being. Aneta graduated from Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic in 2010 with a diploma in Massage Therapy and since has been working as a full-time massage therapist in various healthcare and rehabilitation settings.
Her ultimate goal as a therapist is to decrease stress levels but also to assess, maintain and treat soft tissues of the body through various massage therapy techniques including Swedish massage, hydrotherapy, myofascial release, trigger point therapy and joint mobilizations. She provides specific treatments including lymphatic drainage, intra-oral treatments for TMJ dysfunctions, sports massage, pregnancy, abdominal and breast massages. All of her treatments focus on providing clients with a positive, professional and ethical experience, while maintaining a strong client centered therapy approach. She is a member in good standing of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and expands her current knowledge through continuing education courses.
