Salvatore Spatafora graduated with an education in Massage Therapy from Kikkawa College in 2009. Upon completion of province wide board exams he received membership into the College of Massage Therapists and designation as a Registered Massage Therapist. From his studies he gained extensive clinical experience with comprehensive training in anatomy and pathophysiology. In 2008, Salvatore received instruction in Suikodo, a shiatsu-inspired system based on Master Kikkawa’s lifework. Also in 2008, Salvatore took advanced teaching in Craniosacral Therapy with Robert Harris from the Cranial Therapy Centre in Toronto.
As a therapist, Salvatore treats the body as an interrelated set of parts and address global patterns of soft tissue restriction. His therapeutic treatments combine Swedish massage therapy with deep tissue therapy and joint mobilizations. Salvatore also seeks improvement of clients’ physical and mental wellbeing through deep states of relaxation. Special emphasis is placed on sustained improvement and remedial exercises are tailored to the lifestyle of each client.
